About Me

My photo
Hi, I'm Pam and thank you for visiting my blog. I have been making cards for over 10 years and am an independent demonstrator for Creative Expressions. I am lucky enough to teach on cruise ships and also get the chance to demo at The Big Stamping and Scrapbooking Show at Alexander Palace. I run workshops for a local craft shop and if anyone would like details of the them please e-mail me at stephen.smith870@ntlworld.com I love to scrapbook but my all time favourite thing is to get messy with ink!

Temptation!

Good Morning All and a very Happy Tuesday.

I'm not sure where this last week has gone but it's that time of the week for me to share another project using the Creative Expressions Singles Stamps.

This one is called Temptation and I do love the sentiment which comes with the image.

Anyway, let's get started.....

Cover a piece of glossy card with Citrus, Raspberry and Silver Alcohol Inks.  Keep the colours separate on the applicator and try not to muddy them too much when applying.

Matt and layer onto Foundations black card.

Die cut the Sue Wilson Striplet Floral Meadow twice from Coconut White card.
Save the cut out centres and attach the frame to the alcohol inked background with 3d foam pads.

Glue the floral inserts into position.

Ink up the image from the Temptations set with Black Archival and stamp onto Coconut White Card.
Cut out using the Spellbinders Classic Oval Large Dies.
Cut a matt from black card using the Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Dies.

Stick onto the card with 3d foam pads.

Stamp the sentiment and cut into a banner shape.  Matt and layer onto black card.
Shape and attach to the card with glue.

Add some Small Black Dazzlers to finish.

And there's the finished card!

I hadn't got my alcohol inks out for ages so it was lovely to play with them again...they do make fantastic backgrounds.

If you've booked for the May workshops...well, let's just say you might be making this one!

That's all for this week.  Many thanks for stopping by and leaving comments.

Until next time, have a happy, crafty week!

Hi Pam, I really like this card, and can I say I really like the way you set out your demo, they are easy to follow, and I can say this as I did follow the first of the silhouette cards. My hubby was going into a home store and once I showed him what I wanted I now have enough swatches for around six cards. I love my "blue" one which is my trial run, so thank you. X Ros
